And the results are in.
So I've completed the 30-day health challenge, and I have some thoughts. If you haven't been following along every week, I've been documenting my progress every week in the past month as I embarked on my journey of the Blogilates June workout calendar alongside a vegan meal plan I found on the internet.
I've been giving rankings based on my own success of following the plan week over week, but now I want to give an overall star rating and how effective it was for me.

Workouts ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
I absolutely fell back in love with Blogilates.
I went through phases of loving Blogilates workouts, hating the workouts, and feeling indifferent. I am back on the love train and found her June workout calendar super motivating, and actually waking up sore the next day (A feeling I welcome with open arms).
If you are looking for a well-laid-out plan that does all the thinking for you when it comes to what workouts to do, what body parts to focus on, Blogilates free monthly workout calendar does that. Highly recommend. I will definitely follow another monthly calendar in the next few months (would you want to see my progress in a pt. 2?! Let me know in my Instagram DMs).
Meal Plan ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Would I follow another meal plan in the future? Probably not.
(^Meal plan I 'followed')
I like the flexibility of eating foods I like and tailoring the dish to my taste while still using whole foods. As suspected from the start, a meal plan is not for me. BUT, I'm glad I tried it out in the month of June, and now I have new recipes I've learned through the meal plan that I will 100% keep on rotation (Want to know what they are? Look out for my next blog post on some of my heavy rotation meals I eat all the time).
In the end, I really did not use the meal plan in its original format. Using it more as inspiration, the meal plan allowed me to see where I can substitute foods for healthier versions, and overall be more mindful of what I put into my body.
Eating when I'm hungry, stopping when I'm full. Being aware of how I physically feel when I do eat a cheat meal, and how I feel when I'm eating clean.
These are the changes I plan to keep with me, and the changes I discovered by 'following' this meal plan.
Before we dive into the physical results, how has 30 days of working out changed my mental state?
Being on this 30 day June Health challenge helped me see the true meaning behind working out and eating clean - to feel your best, to fuel your body with what it needs, and to be in tune with all the wonder your body does for you.
Despite that, I was still excited on July 1 to not have a workout 😅
Keeping things in balance is always what I strive for, so taking days off is okay.
Let's get physical

Not a HUGE difference, because let's face it - it was only 30 days. Plus, I did not want to end with a clickbait photo (though I thought I did at the beginning of the challenge). Coming out of this 30-day Health Challenge, I wanted to feel healthier, feel more energetic - and I definitely feel that way. Eating less packaged foods, and moving my body on a daily basis has reminded me how good it feels to have this lifestyle. I've also sought out content that aligns with this message - more so than I was doing previously. This includes discovering Youtubers that promote positive body image, and living holistically (Interested to know who I watch on Youtube? My Youtube Subscription list coming soon!)
I can't wait to keep this going.
To capitalize on this momentum, for the month of July, I will be revisiting my old friend Nike Run Club to log all my runs with the goal of running 50km in July.
Stay tuned for a recap at the end of July on how I feel after running all month long.
